Title: Neocaridina Color Morphs
Post by: Phoenix on September 18, 2009, 01:38:15 AM
Do any of the members here at Badman's have any Neocaridina species other than the Red Cherry Shrimp (Neocaridina denticulata sinensis)?

Varieties include:

Blueberry shrimp (Neocaridina cf. var.blue) - http://shrimpspot.com/blueberry.aspx
Marble Shrimp (Neocaridina palmata) - http://shrimpspot.com/marbleshrimp.aspx
Snowball shrimp (Neocaridina cf. zhangjiajiensis var. white) - http://shrimpspot.com/snowball.aspx
Yellow Shrimp (Neocaridina heteropoda sp) - http://shrimpspot.com/Yellow.aspx

Or any other interesting shrimp species they really enjoy in their tanks?

I have dedicated natural planted tanks of the reds and one for the yellows, both reproduce like mad, the yellow shrimps seem more friendly or should say interested in seeing me when I come to the tank and are bigger than the reds too, the reds could care less and don't even seem to notice me...lol
I also have some ghost shrimp in one of my big tanks and they reproduce like mad as well, I have noticed that the Neocaridina species do a better job eating algae than the ghost as well.

I was wondering if you still have the yellow morphs and if you sell them?

Staff Comment Cannsyl, in the future when you have a question loke this, especially when the thread is so old please PM the member in question instead of resurecting an old thread. MRM
