Title: setting up new tank

65 gallon 36'L x 18" W X 25"H, filtration-under gravel, marineland 350 & grech cbg80o
love electric blue acara
planned stocking 3EBA
6 marigold swords
2 striped raphael
1 rubber nose pleco

plastic plants, large fake root, 3 to 4 logs/caves

figure sword fry will be great nutrition for cats and EBA

read different opinions about swords & EBA compatilitabilty, everything I've read says cats will be fine with swords and EBA's?????

You put an "s" on EBAs. If that is the case and you wind up with a mated pair, then all bets are off. A single one should be ok though.

In a smaller tank I wouldn't suggest adding them together, but you have a good sized tank for it. My problem with swords is that they are constantly nipping at everything. I've had a lot of problems in the past with bacteria infections caused by injuries from swords nippin at fins and bodies. Hopefully having live plants will give them something to nip at and keep them from bothering the other fish.

Having a pet is very pleasing to the senses, relaxes the mind, and provides a companion who is not very demanding and very faithful to the owner. Besides this, caring for pets give children a sense of responsibility and pride.

 went in a different direction-went all African 4 Yellow Labs, 4 Acei, 2 Snow White Socofoli (had 3 but 1 disappeared) and 1 Cockatoo syno-all doing well except 1 Yellow Lab being bullied.  Filtration Aquaclear 70 Aquaclear 110 & UG
