Title: Tank Stocking Suggestion
Post by: Steph on February 25, 2018, 02:26:08 PM
Hi I have just purchased a 65 litre tank and have the exact fish picked out I want to get but just wanted to find out if Iím adding the right amount of fish before going ahead with purchase as do not want to overstock.
These are the fish Iíve picked :
2 Dwarf Gouramis ( not two males )
4 Coryodoras ( Not sure on type yet between all the variations like Panda ,Albino , Pepper etc )
10 Neon Tetras.
1 Or 2 Snails
Thatís what I have in mind. Any suggestions on my selection and whether fish are compatible and not overstocked in that size tank would be appreciated.
I did want to add a female fighter to that by the way but think itís probably not compatible with those fish and tank then would definitely be overcrowded. 😀

I think your stocking plans would be ok, but without the female Betta  and the snail and as long as you do not stock all those fish at the same time. Add over a period of no less than a month.
