Author Topic: Dojo Loach behaviour???  (Read 6280 times)
« on: January 28, 2008, 09:09:27 PM »

We just adopted a golden dojo loach today and she seems to be displaying the strangest behaviour. confused We have her in a 75gal community tank with a bubble wand on the back wall. She seems to be sneaking up on the bubble wand and riding the bubbles up and down a couple of times and then sucking onto the wall beside it. She does it about every ten minutes or so. Is she just playing??? Thanks Katy happy

Is it this?

I don't know much about the dojo but based on my loach behavior I would say that the playful activity is normal.

How long as this tank been set up?  Is it fully cycled?

Yup that's her. Thanks for the good site! I'm glad to know she's playing! I'd always heard that they were shy so I was a little worried. She now seems to be trying to eat the bubbles and then ride them lol! It's really funny!
