I added 2 gold snails to my 35g Hex and one of them is acting strange. Once I caught him floating on top of the water with the current from the filter. He finally let his air out and sank and acted normal for a few days...Now he is on the bottom closed up. I tried moving him last nite and he didnt come out. I have added food for him but he doesnt even find it. What should I do?

Floating is normal for brigs unless it is for an abnormal amount of time.

What other fish are in the tank with the snails? If any of the fish are bothering the snail/snails they will spend much of their time closed in their shells.

Ammonia & Nitrite? Both will stress brigs. Is your tank fully cycled?
