Author Topic: Advice on my female betta.  (Read 1517 times)

I just acquired a female betta from my sister. As of now, the betta is in a large glass vase (1 gallon maybe). This should be fine for now, but I am planning on getting something better. Any recommendations? I want to get something as small / cheap as I can, while still providing the betta with a good and healthy environment for her to thrive, possibly under $30 (or around that much). I just thought I'd ask, since I know very little about tanks. Thanks!

There's no need for you to be sorry. Wink

First, 5 gallon aquarium kits cost more than 10 gallon aquarium kits.

Your local WalMart should have 10 gallon aquarium kits for around $30.00. They might cost a little more than that according to where the store is located.

The kit should have tank, hood, heater, filter, small bottle of conditioner, thermometer and a few sample packets of fish food. *Read the box to see if the kit contains all of that. If not, you will have to buy whatever is missing separately.

Hope that Helped
