This is the barb I'm looking to get from Franks. It's undescribed as yet. Not at all common in the US but more so in the UK.

So any of you UK folks here seen or have it?

Smiley  I've seen a pic or two of them flaring, the dorsal is darn near as big as the fish. 

I hope they'll be suitable in the big tank with the wacko combination that's in there now. Crossing my fingers I don't end up having to rearrange the whole house for them.

Nope Kim .....but then I haven't really looked. I don't tend to get out of the cichlid section lol. I will have a gander around and give you a yell if I come up with anything. They look really nice. How many are you getting ? That dorsal fin looks like some of my guppies tails....same sort of markings.

Kim, from superpap's link, it sounds like it's a small barb.

Superpap - Those red line torpedo barbs pictured at the top of that page are gorgeous!  Too bad they get to be 6".
