last night, i saw an itty bitty baby snail in my 6 gallon, the only snail in there has been my trapdoor snail. the baby is about the size of one of these emoticons.

nothing new has been added to this tank, and i don't have pest snails, is it safe to assume this is a baby trapdoor??

is there anything special i need to do for the little thing? i scoured the tank, and i am sure its the only one. its big enough to see on the glass across the room, so if there were more, im sure i would have found them.

You can keep it in the same tank.  It will eat the same foods as the adult snail.
