Author Topic: catfish question  (Read 1934 times)
« on: October 01, 2009, 01:14:19 AM »

I have a pangasius catfish, and maybe I'm being OCD but I noticed a small white bump smaller than 1/16th of an inch on his tail fin. I've had him for 6 months and not noticed it before, so i read the forums as to what it could be but I'm undecided as to what it could be at the moment.  Should I treat wait or seek treatment early, and I heard there were medicinal treatment you weren't suppose to use on scale-less fish.  Would anyone have any advice or suggestions? Thank you in advance.

Bump in the fin, I wouldn't worry about, until you see it get bigger, multiply or see the fish acting irregularly, I would not do anything.  Clean water is best for fin repair. Smiley
