 welcome   proud

I would hope those JD aren't already stunted...honestly I would imagine they are.

But anyways, for a 150 gallon tank you have ALOT of options because you have ALOT of room.  Pretty much any other larger sized New World cichlid will be good with your JD.  Oscars, green terrors, severums, jaguar, salvini, red devil...anything that gets big enough or mean enough to fend for itself.  Just make sure that with this tank you have several dense groups of driftwood, fake plants, and decorations.  I say fake plants because most cichlids dig in the substrate and will damage or eat live plants.

I'm not sure of the numbers of these fish you can mix with each other so you'll have to look that up on your own.

Good luck.

I don't beleive they are stunned or any of that. they are very active and healthy. they have been in lip lock for about half the day today and i found out about the plants and stuff held down by the gravel .. it don't stay lol. and they will tear it up on top of that. here are pics of them from today. took with my phone so not the best of quality.

Rest assured, a pair of Jack Dempsy's in a 29 for a year are stunted.   I am glad to hear you are getting them a bigger tank.  Roflcopter's thoughts were exactly my own.  His advise is spot on.

When i got them a year ago they were only maybe 1.5 inches long. just babies. do u think they will still be stunned even tho they have grown to this size in the tank that i have had them in?
