So while setting up the new big tank, kicking back and enjoying the fruits of my labor, the wife comes running into the room, "honey, honey you have to see this" eh ok whats going on?  Bob, who shall be renamed due to the fact we know is not a guy anymore was laying egg sacs on the top of the Aquarium glass lid, it was pretty cool, some would come out, then a few more, what a proud momma, I dont think the last batch will make it nothing has seemed to happen so maybe this time we will have baby snails, however, Gary, who we know is the guy, will be getting a vacation into the 36 with the nice community fish.  Wink

have to practice safe snailing you know. I did not even see a box of chocolates for her.  Smiley

Good know that you know who is who ..you will be able to distinguish the differences between the 2 sexes..
Community tanks are great places for the Boys ..
I am amazed at how prolific those snail really are ... She will keep doing the clutch laying thing for a very long time......

It can take up to 30 days for the snail eggs to hatch and then you will be able to see the baby snails not much longer after that ...

We will be waiting for the pass out of the cigars anytime now Wink

Congrats! happy

Read the keeping happy snails thread if you haven't already. It has a lot of excellent information in it.

If the clutch is fertile they should hatch out two weeks from now.

Enjoy!
