I am relatively new with my 37 gal aquarium.  Added 3 live plants lately and read online that maybe I needed to add some beneficial substrate to my gravel.  So I bought enough Laterlite and mixed it in last night with the gravel after doing a 25% water change.  Very cloudy at first (I did rinse it first) and then this morning the tank is again clear.  Just wondering how often I will have to do this, it seems that this stuff might dissolve, not sure.  Any advice or pearls of wisdom?

How often you will have to do what?  The dust cauing the cloudyness either settled or was pulled in to he filter. When you do water changes you might stir it up. If you gravel vac real well pretty soon you won't have to worry about the dust.
