3 Spot Gourami

So I'm reading through the topics on this forum & out of the corner of my eye I see racing around the tank. I got up to watch. My 3 spots are surrounding eachother (all 4 ) and nipping at eachothers fins. The males tags all the females while the females tag eachother. Pretty funny to watch but I wonder if this is early spawning behavior. This is happening now at the top of the tank as I type.
They all take a break & chill down at the bottom then 2 are back at the chasing again.

The other day I spotted a big decorative fake plant at the thrift store, washed it good & threw it in. The Gouramis seem to like it.

OK, call me a stoop but they are hungry, when I get close to watch they then surround, then nip. My Swordtails are there two oblivious to the disagreeing going on.
Better go feed the piggies. LOL
But just in case I think I'll read up on spawning behavior....could have sworn I whitnessed some a week ago.

Have a good night all!

One fish, two fish; crayfish, no fish! :-o
