Hopelessly addicted

I have read that Upside-Down Catfish will tend to lose its inclination to swim upside down with age or just hanging in the aquarium.  Does anybody have suggestions as to how  to keep these guys "belly up"?  Thanks!

Three fish commonly sold as upside down catfish, synodontis euptera, s.nigrita and s.nigriventris. Of the three, only the latter is a true upside down catfish, and retains this behavior until it dies, and, by the way, appreciates being in  group. The other two will on occasion loaf or swim upside down. Genetics, dude, irreversible.

Which one do you have?
