So my assassin snail finally attacked a pond snail -- I was it happen and was cheering him on!

And then my platies got into the act. I guess they were curious, so they landed up and started sniffing around the snails. This startled my assassin enough so he retreated into his shell. The pond snail quickly headed for the hills...

But I guess it's a sign that he's catching on to his purpose in life. I'm hoping to see lots fewer pond snails going forward...  Smiley

It probably eats when you're away from home just to make you think that it doesn't do anything......ever but lay around and be lazy. Wink
