I have two Blue Gouramis in a 55g. One is more aggressive than the other. Always chasing the other who is nearly the same size as her. (Both calm at the moment). The more dominate one sometimes appears to be attacking her reflection.
I have a mirror on the back of the tank but she's not always in front of it doing this.
When she does this her little side fins. (forgot the name) go a mile a minute.
Do Gouramis do this? Or could it be that she is just picking for food off the glass?
Her body language tells me shes upset with what is starring back at her. lol

Wish I could post a video, it is funny to watch.

One fish, two fish; crayfish, no fish! :-o
