First Question....are these Assassin Snail Eggs???? I'm assuming they are, but I don't know for sure.

A little closer

Second question...Do Assassins have their stripes when they hatch? If not, I might be throwing away a bunch of them uhoh

first off ..I have no idea ..
those are the strangest looking things I have seen !
funny thing is I swear I have seen a similar pic before ..can't remember where though.

how about isolating those in a smaller container and watching to see what comes out of those things.

uhoh Well, I would, but I have procrastinated. I actually took that pic 12/14 Smiley

Thanks, Debra biggrin I had to assume that, but....well, they were in the corner tank with the Cichlids. The only other things in there were Trumpet Snails and Assassin Snails.

Soooooooo....anyone know the answer to question #2  confused

I used to breed assassins in a separate tank..... had like 40-50 at one stage. I never noticed them without stripes.... I doubt you would see em at that stage. Iv have seen tiny little guys with stripes though Smiley.

As Debra said they are 100% Assassin snail eggs..... They remind me of shark eggs.

Thanks, Gentlemen happy

Ok, then I don't think I'm removing any babies. I do a thorough check on the handfuls I remove...dead and alive Smiley Seems like the Assassins are doing well, but I hardly ever see them...just the carnage after the eating frenzies Wink
