I am going to get a red cherry shrimp tank and I think I will be getting java Moss and java fern but was wondering how fast shrimp reproduce and if there is any fish that will not eat shrimp or fry.

Corys don't seem to bother the shrimp, bit I've witnessed just about every other fish I have kept with a shrimp tail in it's mouth.

Under proper conditions, which I had in my old 20 gallon long tank, you can get hundreds in a few months.  We were amazed how many shrimp we had.  I started with 3 males and 3 females.

Im getting cherry shrimp tommorow for my 20gal and im going to be mixing them with fish once i get a good population of shrimp (Probably dwarf gourami to control population).

Ill let you know how it turns out....  Wink I think the key is to have loads of moss and hiding places for the baby shrimp.
