Hi all,
Wonder if anyone can help me out here, winter is approaching and we do always get frozen taps so I know that the pond (being a surface pond) will freeze over. I know that the goldfish won't cope well being fancies but how will the dojos do with the cold? I'm planning on getting a pond ice vent: http://www.pondpumpsdirect.com/Pond-Heaters/Pond-Heaters-/Blagdon-Affinity-Ice-Vent-50-Watt-Heater/p-239-274-1306/
Also considering getting a small tank heater with an extra long lead to put on the filter/pump intake so that will definitely flow.
Also! Is it likely that after the winter I might end up with some baby dojos? I've read that cold spells triggers spawning and I'd love some little baby loaches

Thanks fish16

No idea, it's still at my ex's! But it didn't freeze over at home over the winter so I'm assuming it's fine
