I've found 3 red ramshorn snails in my 40 gallon. They may have been on the water lettuce I've added about 4-6 weeks ago. They're kind of cute, but I'm wondering if they will become a nuisance (reproduction) if I leave them in there.   question

they will reproduce .. If you spotted two there will be more.... Wink Some snails are really pretty in their own way ..
Do you have a friend who has large loaches or puffers? .. They would appreciate a few live snails from time to time. lick

The assassin snails will take care of that problem really quickly.  If you haven't seen one go to town then I suggest you check out a video of it.  Really cool stuff

Those ramshorn snails I've taken out of the tanks back then, found just one other the other day, but I don't think they are a problem anymore!  Smiley
