I managed to catch a few shots of my Wild Betta Smaragdina, bubblenesters have proved to be more shy then the larger mouthbrooding wilds. So the first few shots are of my dominant male and the last the the non dominant male.
I even got a what you looking at shot!

No nests I didnt want them to breed yet really. I still have so many juvie patotis to deal with. Too many hot days to set them up outside. I have anarchy in the main holding tank.
I have a new 5 foot been built at the moment I will divide that into a 3 foot for the adult patotis and 2 foot of it for the juvies and then the 4 foot the adults are in now will then hold more juvies. This should make it a little less crowded.
Maybe when I move most of the patotis on I will slow the current and allow the smaragdina to breed.
