I was thinking of getting about 6 Tiger Barbs with my HR which I have 17 now in my 70 gallon tank. Is this alright to socialise with meaning the Barbs. Thanks confused

I think they will be alright in your tank. Once the Tigers start getting used to their new surroundings, they will most likey stick to mid to bottom range of your tank.......................until feeding time of course  Wink

In a 70 gallon tank, consider 8 rather than 6.

Someone who has  a lot of knowledge about fish keeping told me yesterday they are to aggressive for the HR and will start to fight with them.Thanks

If you get enough of them. They will just fight amongst themselves. I have ten in my tank and they don't bother any other fish.
