Hello cichlid lovers, would appreciate your expert advice:
I've had my 55g planted for about 5 years and it is now getting low on inhabitants. I have 4 corydoras adolfoi (which have been there from the beginning), 3 big tiger barbs (the other 2 sadly died, one jumped out of the tank), 1 large gourami (3 years), 1 emperor pleco (2 years), 4 siamese algae eaters (2 years) There does not seem to be any aggression and I'm wondering if, with this community, I could add 2 or 3 discus possibly? I know they are quite tricky, or would any other cichlid be more suited? I have had GBR's with success, also angels, but my tanks is not tall enough for them (had to give them away) and GBR's don't live very long, and also need perfect water...which I do try to provide.
Always very appreciative  fish09
