Are tetra min tropical crisps a good food? I use the tetra color flakes now and fish are healthy and in full color. Are the crisps better though?

Its all pretty good...What i would say is dont just feed your fish exclusively on a particular type of flake alone...Vary their diet....Feed frozen food (Bloodworm/ Daphnia/Brineshrimp), Vegetables (Peas/Cucumber/Courgette) Pellets, Flakes, Tablets, Wafers.........

I dont know if its available in America but the best food in my opinion you can feed your fish is a small pellet called "New Life Spectrum (Thera + A)" It is amazing food and contains Garlic which actually repels Parasites.....

OK, I read great reviews on this food. Do you know the shelf life?  Can it be frozen?  Is it fine to crumble for smaller fish?  And, is it an everyday addition to other foods.

There are all forms of variety when it comes to food. Although a mixture of the same ingredients just formed for a different texture can be classified somewhat of a variety for fish that are partial to that texural form, it may not be favorable to just any fish. Fish rely on all sorts of cues for finding and feeding. Check the ingredients of the Tetra food you are currently feeding. Then, check the ingredients of the other in question. Then consider the fish that will be fed. Your angels may take them in, but I'm not that sure about your guppies and platys. I think gunnered72 has presented a good recommendation. In this case, a better varied diet should consist of more completely different foods to include a varied ingredient of animal and vegetable/plant. Be it in a freed dried, live cutured, or frozen medium.

The garlic in the Thera+A, really, will it aid in ridding parasites, or prevention, or assist the immune system, or all of that?  I read conflicting views on this but like I said above, the food I was talking about, received almost hard to believe reviews. But if it works I'm interested.
