So I am setting up a twenty gallon. The tank will be lightly planted with various forms of anubias sourced from my 55 gallon. I was wondering if a school of Black or white skirt tetras would be OK with a betta in a twenty standard (not long). confused question

Maybe a female Betta. A male's fins may get nipped and picked (which could eventually result in unnecessarily  stressing the  Betta). Perhaps more taller and bushier plantings could allow for s better retreat should this happen.

Thank you for the quick reply.  I was wondering what types of smaller schooling fish would go well with a betta. I have heard neons but I was leaning away from neons for this tank. goldfish
