After years of running undramatic community tanks I've decided to try a single species  apistogramma tank, specifically A. erythrura. Like other SA cichlids these guys like water more acid than what comes out of my tap. They want to be at5.5 to 6.4 and our city water runs 7.5 to 8.5 and very soft (5 ppm caco3). So how do I safely get the ph where these fish will be happy?
Thanks
