I'm looking at upgrading from a 20 long to a 46 gal bow front glass tank. However, I've heard some people say that bow fronts crack easily and that their dangerous. Is this true or are they just as safe as any other tank if properly cared for?

Had a 72 Gal Oceanic bow front for 16 years. No issues, no problems. Bow front tanks pose no more issues than any other aquarium. Of course the stand and canopy employed need to be for a bow front tank.

Thanks for your input! I decided to make a move and purchase the tank mentioned in my post’s question. I’m coming from a 20 long so this tank looks huge to me.
