Hello everyone. My question maybe crazy. I have 4 gourami, 2 pleco, 5 Flo tetras, 3 Cory catfish, and 1 black convict  in my 55 gallon tank. I have had them for about 2 months now.  I noticed when I was feeding them. My convict was very aggressive to the other fish. Come to find out the convict is a girl and laid eggs on a shell in the tank of all males. How do I go about handling the issue? Do I remove the mother and eggs or do I divide them from the other Fish?

Not that unusual for a Cichlid, but with only one Convict in the tank, those eggs will not be viable or hatch without fertilization by a male. Perhaps those could be Cory eggs? Is the female Convict fanning/protecting them? Are there more than 8-10 eggs in the clutch?

The convict are protecting the eggs and it's about 50 of them.
