Hi Badman, dabbled in tropical fish many years ago avg success. Decided to buy a new 60 litre tank (approx 15 U.S. Gal)for a spot in the lounge. As it's sitting empty while it cycles I thought I would do some reading online. Here I am, just read for the second time Dean Hougens article 'Good 1st fish, bad 1st fish' and what a great article for a beginner like me, abso bloody brilliant, very helpful.
