Is there a difference between the different flake foods
out there? Can anyone recomend a good high quality brand?

Tetra is very popular, but some people swear by Wardley.
I usually use tetra and OSI, but I really think it is a
matter of preferance.

Tetra flakes, though good and very widely used, are not
the best of flakes (in my opinion only, this is not
a fact, it is only my opinion). Although I still use
Tetra flakes and think its great, I also use a variety of
others. I like to spoil my fish; I don't think they
like eating only one type of food every day so I give them
as wide a variety as possible :-D
Aquidine flakes are very good, OSI is excellent, and so
are Hikari pellets. Also, if you can find it, I have found
New Life Spectrum food to be of an exceptional quality.
Vary your fishes diet, and find which ones your fish like
best.
