I want to get a rope fish, but I have no idea what they
eat, and when I looked it up all I could find out was that
they eat worms...but what kind, frozed, freeze dried, fresh?
I am so confused please help!

Oh I almost forgot, I also was wondering what kinds of fish
would make good tank-mates with a rope fish?

They will eat small fish if they get hungry. I did a search
on the web(search yahoo for tropical rope fish)
and a rope fish can grow to 15 inches. Someone was feeding
them frozen bloodworms in addition to the fresh food, so
I guess you can go either way. I assume tank mates would
have to be fish that won't fit in their mouths unless
you want to provide expensive snacks. BTW they are also
really good at getting out of the tank, so you need a tight
lid!

Woo! Species tank only and a large one at that. My friend
has one and they will eat just about ANYTHING live as stated
above, make no mistake in a community tank no matter how
cute and small they are when you get them.
