Aquarium Pharmaceuticals ACCU-CLEARŽ

Clears cloudy aquarium water fast, usually within 4 hours. Eliminates milky haze. Eliminates small dirt particles and haze released when cleaning the aquarium and gravel bed.

ACCU-CLEARis a fast-acting water clarifier for all freshwater aquariums. ACCU-CLEAR eliminates cloudy aquarium water. These tiny particles are too small for regular aquarium filters to remove. ACCU-CLEAR causes the tiny particles to clump together, forming larger particles that are easily removed by the aquarium filter.

Causes of Cloudy Aquarium Water

Aquarium maintenance including water changes, gravel cleaning, and filter changes, stir up debris and dirt into the aquarium water. ACCU-CLEAR helps aquarium filters quickly remove suspended debris, restoring aquarium water to a crystal-clear condition.

Tips on Maintaining a Crystal-Clear Aquarium

Many aquarium clouds are directly related to the build-up of organic matter in the aquarium. Uneaten fish food, fish waste, and dead algae all contribute to cloudy water. Bacterial blooms feed on organic matter, algae blooms are stimulated by nutrients released from decomposing organic matter. The following regular monthly aquarium maintenance should be performed to keep the aquarium clean and healthy.

- Partial water changes of 15 - 25% are recommended - Aquarium gravel should be vacuumed to remove accumulating dirt or "sludge" - Aquarium filter cartridges should be changed or cleaned - Old activated carbon and filter floss should be replaced.

Instructions for Use

ACCU-CLEARis completely non-toxic to all freshwater fish, invertebrates, and plants when used as directed. Although ACCU-CLEAR is completely safe in recommended doses, overdosing will actually slowdown the water clarification.

1. Add 2 drops of ACCU-CLEAR for each gallon (3.8 L) of aquarium water. For larger aquariums, add 1 teaspoonful (5 ml) for each 50 gallons (132 L) of water.

2. Water will clear within several hours. If second dose is necessary, wait 24 hours. ACCU-CLEAR can be used once every week to keep filters performing at maximum efficiency.

Green or white cloudiness in tank. We suffered a problem through our own fault I believe messing around with the filters etc.. A day later we had bad white cloudiness in the tank that got worse over two or three days. The white cloudiness then went green and also got worse over the next couple of days, almost to the point of not being able to see the back of the tank (33 gallon). We tried elaborate home constructed filtering/recycling all with little or no success. My wife purchased ACCU-CLEAR in desperation against all the advice to stay away from chemicals. She administered the first dosage and within 12-14 hours the tank was 80% better. She administered an optional second dosage the next day, and within 4 hours we have the most sparkling clean tank I have EVER had. I am NOT exaggerating here on the results. It has almost a brilliant clarity. The fish all seem completely fine at this point (3 days later). I will make a follow up if things go awry. We did try ALL natural remedies however we admittedly did not have the patience to wait many weeks for nature to do it's thing (the tank is in our living room), and basically looked like 33 gallons of sewage.
