HOW IT WORKS Unsurpassed Mechanical, Chemical, and Biological Filtration! The Fluval C-Series Power Filter draws water from the aquarium through the intake tube into the motor which then pumps water out of the impeller assembly. The motor pushes the flow of unfiltered water through filter inserts to trap particles, debris, and purify the water.

Available in C2, 30 gallons, C3, 50 gallons and C4, 70 gallons models.

The Fluval C-Series Power Filter features 5 stages of filtration: 2 mechanical, 1 chemical and 2 biological stages for top performance. Each filter is equipped with the Fluval C-Series Poly/Foam, Activated Carbon, C-nodes and drip tray pad. An integrated trickle chamber filled with C-Nodes is where biological filtration is super charged for fast and efficient nitrification. The mechanical filtration is performed by a dual layer of foam and polyester, and is easily removed for quick cleaning. The patented recirculation grid enhances mechanical filtration when the flow rate is reduced. A convenient chemical insert basket directs water flow to maximize toxin removal. Maintaining only one stage at a time will preserve beneficial bacteria, resulting in a stress-free environment, while ensuring aquarium water stays clear.
