| From: David Knapp Tank data: Capacity =150 Gal I have a 150 gallon tank fully planted with automatic water changers and silca sand for a strata. I have plants that have been unbothered for 6 years. The lights are on cycle and go off and on with different bulbs creating a natural lighting cycle with cloud cover and rainy days. I use two pumps that move 1500 gallons per hour through lifeguard filter systems. Really a nice system. It is the best one I have had in years, my dream tank. I am going to send several mailings with recent pictures. I have had cardinal tetras, my favorite and they are over 3 years old. I also use botias for snail control and as you see do very well. I was working on an article and will get that finished yet. Under the large group of java ferns is a red tailed botia. He only comes out in the night. There are over 8 others in there of different types (botias). |
