Peaceful Schooling fish, 6+ of same species preferred
for comfort of the fish.
Water:
Acidic 6.5 to 5.0 preferred. Blackwater biotope.
75° to 84° degrees F (24° to 29° c.)
Care:
Densely planted with some floating plants to filter
the harshness of the lights. Very sensitive to enviornmental changes.
It is best to make sure water temperature, PH, KH, & GH remain
as stable as possible. Also ensure that tank is properly established
with no ammonia and nitrites and minimal nitrates. For best coloring,
use with dark colored substrate.
Communities:
Suitable for other smaller peaceful species, no
Cichlids or other aggressive fish.
