Habitat:	Asia: Endemic to India, primarily from Kannaur, Kerala .
Diet:	Omvivorous, eats pretty much whatever is offered flake frozen and live food.
Behavior:	Active but peaceful schooling fish, Recommended numbers of 6 or more.
Water:	Temperature 59-77°F (15-20°C), pH range 6.5-7.5 dH range: 5 - 25.
Care:	Medium, Requires a large tank with a strong current.
Communities:	Good, works well in most community set-ups.
Suitability:	Good as long as you have the room to meet it's needs.
