Species: Brachygobius Xanthozona
Common Name: Bumblebee Goby
Size: Up to 2 inches (5cm)
Min Tank Size: 15 gallons.
Habitat: Asia: Java, Sumatra and Borneo.
Diet: Carnivorous, small live food of all kinds. May take frozen or freeze dried rarely flake.
Behavior: Peaceful, but can be territorial.
Water: pH 7.5 to 8.5 dH 15 to 30º, addition of some marine salt required. Temperature range 75°- 86°F (24° to 30°C)
Care: Hard, feeding can cause problems as they may not accept flake food.
Communities: Poor, should be kept in a species tank so that it demamds on water conditions can be met.
Suitability: Only for those willing to meet their needs.
